Fibers provide coroutine support for v8 and node. Applications can use Fibers to allow users to write code without using a ton of callbacks, without sacrificing the performance benefits of asynchronous IO. In this episode I'll review what async means in Node, introduce the event loop, and show the main problem Fibers help us solve.
